Mindscapes are paintings of internal terrains.
These works reflect lived experience, perception, and the quiet spaces between memory and imagination. They are not depictions of actual places, but rather landscapes constructed from feeling, recollection, and the psychological residue of events.
Sometimes they feel expansive and still. Sometimes fragmented and shifting. They carry the atmosphere of places that don’t exist physically, but are felt deeply. A mood. A moment. A memory half-held.
The paintings in this series often borrow the language of natural scenes—horizons, waves, skies—but dissolve it into abstraction. What remains is a suggestion. A trace. A symbolic space that invites the viewer to enter with their own associations.
Mindscapes are where the internal and external blur. Where the boundary between world and self becomes porous. Where landscape becomes metaphor for what’s going on inside.
They explore how we carry places within us. How memories of space are shaped not by fact, but by feeling. How a landscape can become a vessel for something much more intimate.
This series asks the viewer to wander. To pause. To feel their way through unfamiliar ground.
