Imprints are emotional recordings.
These works trace the subtle shifts of internal weather: mood, tension, tenderness, grief, release. They are not about specific stories or events, but about the emotional charge left behind. What clings. What echoes. What the body remembers long after the moment has passed.
Each painting becomes a kind of surface diary, a visual record of what it felt like to be in a particular state without needing to explain why. The marks are intuitive, layered, and responsive. Textures build up, break apart, and settle again. Paint is dragged, scratched, blended, wiped away. The process mirrors emotion itself. Sometimes soft. Sometimes abrupt. Always shifting.
This series is less about clarity and more about honesty. Imprints do not aim to resolve the feeling. They hold it. They make space for it. They let it breathe.
Some pieces feel quiet and contemplative. Others hum with agitation or ache. But all of them arise from the same impulse: to witness the emotional landscape, not fix it.
In this way, Imprints act like mirrors. What you see in them might shift depending on where you are standing internally.
